A grove of trees has been planted in memory of the late Michael Scott. At the time of his death, Scott was the Chicago Public School board president. He, previously, had served as president of the Park District Board.

The trees stand in Garfield Park, just west of the conservatory.

An official dedication will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning. The public is invited to attend.
