Crews began tearing down the home and garage on 48th Court Friday morning.
On Valentine's Day, six members of the same family, including a 3-day old baby, died in the fire.
The seventh victim was a family friend.
The building's owner, Lawrence Myers, and maintenance man Marion Comier, are charged with first degree murder and aggravated arson.
Investigators say Myers hired Comier to burn down the building for the insurance money.
They have pleaded not guilty.
Cicero officials say it will take a couple days to raze the home.
