A former paramedic and soccer coach is sentenced to prison for child sexual exploitation.

Timothy Scholtes, 46, of Coal City, was convicted Tuesday of molesting six boys before his arrest in 2009. Scholtes was also found guilty of manufacturing and receiving child pornography.

He denied molesting any boys.

The judge sentenced him to 50 years in prison. Scholtes must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for release.
