Chicago parishioners flock to beaches for prayer

August 21, 2010 (CHICAGO) One service was held at 63rd Street Beach. Those taking part prayed for an end to violence, as well as for a non-violent school year.

The simultaneous prayer service was organized by the Black Catholic Deacons of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
