County sheriff's workers play softball for charity

Employees of the Cook County Sheriff's Office got together to hammer the horsehide to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.More than 100 workers took part in the 10-team softball tournament, which has been going for eight years.

The foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening diseases. Since it began, the tournament has raised $50,000 for the foundation.
