In their lawsuit, George and Peyton Willborn claim their $1.7 million bid to buy the 8,000-square foot home was refused because they are African American. The house was listed for $1.79 million.
Earlier this month, the U.S. government charged the sellers and the Lowe Group with housing discrimination in the case.
The Lowe Group would not comment on the suit.
Attorneys for the Willborns have scheduled a news conference for Thursday.
