Kia says some of the wiring harnesses in the soul's front door trim panels and in the Sorrento's front and rear door trim panels may have been improperly sodered. That could lead to an electrical short.
The recall includes Kia Soul wagons from the 2010 model year and the 2011 Sorento SUV. Kia will notify owners later this month about repairs.
