Mexican Independence celebrated with weekend parade

September 11, 2010 (CHICAGO) The festivities started at Columbus and Balbo.

In addition to seeing the mayor and other dignitaries, visitors also enjoyed colorful floats, costumes and even Southpaw was hanging out and waving hello to everyone.

A second parade is planned for Sunday on 26th Street.
