Daley speaks in Shanghai at trade lunch

Mayor Richard M. Daley and members of the Chicago delegation of business leaders traveling in Shanghai this week join Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng and members of his administration to sign a renewed sister city agreement expanding the social and economic collaboration between the two cities on September 20, 2010. The two mayors also signed an Eco City partnership agreement to collaborate on a broad range of environmental issues.

Mayor Daley is in China this week for an overseas trade mission.

He was scheduled to speak at a luncheon hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. That luncheon happened around 11 Sunday night Chicago time.

A short while later he was to visit and participate in a signing ceremony with Shanghai's mayor.

Mayor Daley will also visit South Korea during his trip.
