4 vehicles crash in Vernon Hills

October 19, 2010 (VERNON HILLS, Ill.) Shortly before 6 a.m., three cars and a pickup truck collided near the intersection of North Milwaukee Avenue and East Townline Road, according to police.

Firefighters had to extricate one person. Four people in all were hospitalized.

The crash led to some traffic delays while police conducted an investigation.
