He's debuting a new movie about his life Friday night and visiting the haunts of his boyhood and Playboy history.
Hef brought his current leading lady Crystal Harris and his two college-age sons along for the tour of the city where the legend began.
"I come back to my hometown and go back and walk the streets as we're going to do tomorrow, and the boys, and Crystal and Iand my brother are going to go back to the old neighborhood, visit the home in which we grew up, going to visit Steinmetz, my high school. Wonderful stuff, wonderful," Hefner said.
On Friday, Hef is scheduled to appear at the Siskel Center for the premiere of the acclaimed documentary "Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel."
