O'Hare International Airport is getting financial support for a new control tower from the Federal Aviation Administration. The money, $3.4 million, will help pay for the design and construction of the new tower.

The agreement means the tower will be finished when a new runway is completed. The tower will control air traffic on that runway.

The work is all part of the airport's expansion project.
