Derrick Turner is charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault.
The girl, who lives in the Woodlawn neighborhood, told authorities she fell asleep on a train and woke up to a man asking if she needed money for the bus.
She was reported missing last Saturday and found Wednesday with Turner at an apartment in the 6100-block of South University.
