Most parents know the importance of a child's education, but choosing the right school can be tough.

On Saturday, January 29th, parents can learn more about public school options, including charter schools, at the 4th Annual New Schools Expo in Chicago.

The event is hosted by The Renaissance Schools Fund, in partnership with Chicago Public Schools. More than 85 schools will be on hand to help parents and students learn about the application process and even apply on the spot.

There will also be informational workshops, and free screenings of "The Lottery," a film that documents the struggle for expanded school options.
