Rally held over Planned Parenthood funding

People on both sides of the abortion debate held rallies in Chicago's Federal Plaza Friday.

The demonstrations come just days after House Republicans passed a budget amendment stripping federal funds from Planned Parenthood.

The Senate has not voted on the bill.

Critics say Planned Parenthood should receive no taxpayer dollars.

The organization says if it loses federal funding it will not be able to serve more than 1 million woman who receive cancer screenings, annual exams, birth control and sex education.
