March 15, 2011 (WINNETKA, Ill.) --
A teacher at New Trier High School in suburban Winnetka has been removed from her teaching duties while the school investigates allegations of misconduct. School officials are not saying what the teacher is accused of. They have sent a letter to parents telling them the school has a team of counselors available for students.
The teacher has not been criminally charged with any wrongdoing. She has taught German at New Trier since 2003.
