The head of Baltimore's public schools may be on the top of Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel's list to be the new Chicago Public Schools CEO.

Andres Alonso, an Ivy League-educated academic and lawyer, is being credited with turning around the Baltimore school district.

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Alonso may be a match to the mayor-elect's philosophy and style. Improving public schools was one of the top issues in the race for mayor.
