A Hammond, Indiana, man entered a guilty plea in a hit-and-run accident that killed a highway construction worker last year.

Robert Shannon, 36, faces two to eight years in prison when sentenced next month. In his plea, Shannon admits driving at a recklessly high rate of speed through a construction zone.

The victim, 45-year-old Christopher Jenkins, was working on the Borman Expressway in Lake Station, Indiana, when he was struck and killed.
