Some residents in Evanston were furious with a newspaper report Friday that the city would charge them for snow clean up.It turns out it was an April Fools' Day prank.
The report in the Evanston Roundtable reportedly provoked some irate calls to City Hall.
The staff there had to explain that residents would not be required to pay $2.25 a day for snow removal.
