One of the biggest supporters of the Chicago Children's Museum's move to Grant Park is surrendering any hopes it will happen, according to published reports.

Bob O'Neill, the head of the grant park conservancy, reportedly told the Chicago Sun-Times it's time to move on and consider another project for the north end of Grant Park instead of the children's museum.

While Mayor Richard Daley supports the move, Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel doesn't.

The museum is currently located at Navy Pier.
