Financial stress to blame for shaken baby rise?

Financial stress may be to blame for an alarming increase in abusive head trauma in infants.

A new study finds non-accidental head injuries among infants has doubled during the recession.

It's a form of child abuse previously known as shaken baby syndrome.

The exact reason why this is happening is unknown, but researchers believe that more parents are stressed to the breaking point because of economic problems such as unemployment and foreclosures.
