Glencoe police suspect juveniles painted three swastikas on public signs in north suburban Glencoe.

Two swastikas were spotted near the intersection of South and Surfside avenues near a beach access point on the east end of Glencoe. A third was on a stop sign at Valley Road and Skokie Ridge.

The graffiti caused about $400 worth of damage and upset some residents. It has since been removed.

Glencoe police suspect juveniles are behind the vandalism.
