Democrat Giannoulias said he will draw on his experience from the 2010 Senate race, which he lost to Republican Mark Kirk. He is also expected to discuss President Barack Obama's 2008 campaign.
Giannoulias says the class will be hands-on, interactive and a discussion about governing and campaigning.
Giannoulias said he is also considering other job offers in the private sector.
