Chicago expands work program for ex-offenders

Mayor Richard Daley announced Saturday that Chicago is expanding a unique program to help give ex-offenders a new chance for success.

Chicago works with the North Lawndale Employment Network in a business called Sweet Beginnings. It distributes honey, and honey-based soaps and skin products. The honey comes from bee farms.

The city says part of the expansion will make O'Hare International Airport the nation's only airport to have a bee farm.
