Thursday shootings kill one, wound at least ten

Chicago police are investigating a series of shootings that killed one person and wounded at least 10 others Thursday.

The shootings occurred across the city Thursday afternoon and evening.

Jesus Gamboa, 21, was killed and another man was injured in the 3000-block of N. California.

The two were sitting in a car in a parking lot when two gunmen fired into their vehicle.

A 16-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head at Touhy Park in the 7300-block of N. Clark.

Four other people are being treated after they were shot on the 300-block of E. 43rd St.

Police believe that shooting was gang-related.
