Bond was set at $2 million Monday for a Westmont man accused of fatally stabbing his own father.

William Clifford, 32, is charged with first degree murder.

On Saturday, police responded to a call of a fight in progress at a Westmont hotel where Clifford was living. Prosecutors say Clifford fatally stabbed his father, 63-year old William Clifford.

The younger Clifford allegedly tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by Westmont police without incident.
