Lightning strike causes North Chicago fire

Lightning during Wednesday morning's storms ignited a house fire in the far northern suburbs.

The fire started around 5:30 a.m. in the 2200-block of Seymour Avenue in North Chicago. The house has been heavily damaged.

Firefighters say the homeowners were not inside when the fire started. There were no injuries.
