Three trains were delayed after a Metra train struck a cow Thursday morning near Woodstock, Ill.

The inbound train from Harvard was damaged in the accident. Officials say the cables were exposed.

That led to the delay of two following trains along the Union Pacific/Northwest Line (UP-NW).

Harvard is 65 miles northwest of downtown Chicago.
