Byron Broger of Rockford was sentenced to 33 months in prison for the attempted burglary conviction, and was paroled after 16 months in July of 2010, according to Stacey Solano, spokeswoman for the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Now, Broger's been convicted and sentenced for a home invasion, burglary and the attempted rape of two mentally-challenged women who lived together in Elgin.
He must now serve at least 85 percent of his 15 year sentence for that attack.
