Thirty-six-year-old Patrick Altman was last seen at his home on Saturday.
Divers were searching the pond near Altman's home on Sunday and discovered his body Tuesday.
Palos Heights police say there was nothing suspicious at the scene or at Altman's residence.
An autopsy will be conducted Wednesday afternoon.
