On Sunday, October 16, the shopping center will host Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a festive 5K walk in partnership with the American Cancer Society. More than a 5K walk, Making Strides is a special occasion designed to express hope and celebrate survivorship.
Event day registration begins at 8 a.m. between Zara and California Pizza Kitchen, followed by the opening ceremony at 9 a.m. and official start of the walk at 9:30 a.m. A fall fashion show, showcasing the hottest trends for fall worn by models celebrating their survival, will take place on the main stage near L. L. Bean immediately following the closing ceremony.
