Infant wounded in Englewood shooting

An infant was shot in the leg on Chicago's South Side Wednesday evening by another child inside a home near South Laflin and West 63rd Street.

The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m.

Police say multiple weapons were recovered from inside the home.

The 7-month-old boy was taken to the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital in stable condition.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
