Mother claims shop sold her son synthetic marijuana

On June 14, Max Dobner drove through a stop sign and struck a wall before his car crashed into a home in North Aurora.

No one inside the house was injured.

The Daily Herald reportd Karen Dobner has filed a suit accusing the Cigar Box of Aurora of selling her son a dangerous product that led to his death.

The suit claims Hypnotic iAroma is mislabeled as potpourri and contains synthetic marijuana.

The tobacco shop has since closed.
