The victims were the members of three families from Ecuador. Their bodies will be taken back to that country for burial.
The accident happened about 10 miles east of South Bend, Ind. Ten family members were in a minivan that hit a deer, slowed down and was rammed by a semi.
Three adults and four children were killed. None of them were wearing seat belts. There were three survivors.
