Metra: Delays could last 3 weeks in Bartlett

November 8, 2011 (CHICAGO)

Last Thursday, a freight train derailed near Bartlett, Ill. Three cars caught fire and the crash stopped service on Metra's commuter line. While the area has been cleared, officials say the Metra West Line will continue to see minor delays of up to 10 minutes as trains run on a single track for the next few weeks.

Canadian National Railway crews are working to fix the damaged tracks, which are located near an interlocker of switching point for CN and Metra.
