A pool heater is blamed for a carbon monoxide leak that made guests sick at a Bourbonnais hotel.Firefighters responded to the Holiday Inn Express Saturday night and ended up taking 16 people to hospitals. Among them were children who had been at the hotel pool.
Firefighters say a heater warming the pool water released high levels of carbon monoxide.
