At this food packing event, Major will spend an evening placing turkeys, eggs, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce and much more in boxes that will be distributed to families in need.
Why Give Back? This is the season of giving. Major Wright was selected to participate by "Black On Black Love" President and CEO Francis Wright to motivate the volunteers. Major's story of determination and motivation to come back from an injury that sidelined him last season. His focus and hard work brought him back strong this year. "We are happy to have Major help out" Ms. Wright said. Major wanted to show he cares. When asked why he agreed to come and help organize food to give away to 400 families, Major Wright's response was because "It's The Wright Thing To Do."
