It happened after school at Beebe Elementary in the far west suburb. Kenneth Brown, 54, is charged with public indecency and aggravated battery.
The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, after school. No students were present.
In a letter to parents, District 203 says Brown has been suspended without pay.
