Firefighters stayed outside the building as the fought the flames because it wasn't clear if the roof was stable.
The fire broke out in the two-story building at about 7:30 p.m.
A hazardous materials team was called in as a precaution because of nearby railroad tanker cars.
No injuries were reported but nearby streets were shut down.
