Terry Pruitt, 23, is due in court Wednesday.
Officers say they saw Pruitt flee in a vehicle after allegedly shooting at a 19-year-old man near 71st and Ashland.
Police pursued Pruitt until he crashed near 73rd and Hermitage and was arrested.
Two officers were hurt in the crash, but they did not have life-threatening injuries.
Two other men in the car were also arrested.
