Police say they found 65-year-old Richard Phelps dead in his home in the 2400-block of Partridge Lane around 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
They were called to the home earlier by a woman who reported a domestic dispute. She told officers she heard a gunshot as she left the house.
Police tried to talk with the man, but they were unable to make contact.
