Authorities say DNA evidence leads to kidnapping charges against a Chicago woman nearly one year after the incident.

Rachel Schram, 29, is accused of kidnapping a 50-year-old woman, beating her and leaving her with a broken nose. It allegedly happened last year in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.

Police say DNA from a liquor bottle in the victim's car led to the charges.
