Man gets 32 years for killing co-worker in Burr Ridge

A former Chicago man accused of killing a co-worker three years ago has been sentenced to spend 32 years in prison.

John Gilbert entered a plea of guilty but mentally ill last fall in the death of Jason Dragos.

Dragos was found shot to death in a trucking terminal near Burr Ridge in February of 2009.

Prosecutors said Gilbert lured Dragos to the location claiming the two needed to prepare for a business meeting.

Dragos was shot in the head and his body left in a storage closet.
