Police are searching for a man who tackled a woman in Chicago's Chinatown neighborhood and stole her bag and purse.

Officers found some of the woman's belongings discarded in a parking lot in the 2700-block of South Wentworth. That's about a block from where the victim was knocked to the ground and robbed Monday morning.

The woman was not hurt. But investigators found blood on her belongings.

Investigators believe the blood may belong to the robber and speculate that he may have hurt himself when he attacked the woman.
