Miss Deaf America unseen at Sunday's Super Bowl

If you watched the Super Bowl, you saw a lot. A great game, the creative commercials and quite a halftime show.

But there is one thing you didn't see.

Nowhere in the television broadcast did you see Arlington Heights native and Miss Deaf America Rachel Mazique. She signed the National Anthem and "America the Beautiful."

Mazique tells ABC 7's news partner The Daily Herald she wasn't placed anywhere near singers Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. She wasn't even invited to stay for the game.

Her treatment at the big game is upsetting many in the deaf community who are demanding an apology from NBC and the NFL.
