The winner of a contest to celebrate the "20th annual Chicago River Day" gets to move into the Bridgehouse Museum for 24 hours. The winner can bring three friends. Check-in is May 4.
Among the perks: a behind-the-scenes visit with operators as they lift the Michigan Avenue bridge.
Contestants must submit an essay about their hope for the river's future. Entries are due March 15th. You'll find a link to the application on bridgehousemuseum.org/home.
