CHA wants input for overhaul

The Chicago Housing Authority wants to hear from city residents about its plans for a major overhaul.

The agency is launching a new web site to collect input on what it calls the "Plan for Transformation 2.0."

The CHAbegan the plan for transformation in 2000 when it started demolishing or rehabbing dozens of rundown buildings and relocating thousands of residents.

The current plan is set for completion in 2015, but the CHA said it wants to "recalibrate" the program.

In addition to the web site, four input sessions for CHA residents will be held in the next few weeks.
