The mayor was joined Thursday at a business roundtable in the Little Village neighborhood by Congressman Luis Gutierrez and other political leaders.
The congressman praised the mayor's pro-immigration efforts.
"You know what, lots of people are coming and they're going to accept that welcoming mat that and it's going to make Chicago a stronger vibrant city," said Gutierrez.
Western Union has agreed to finance 4 small business events a year through 2014.
