A section of the southbound Tri-State Tollway reopened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday after a tanker truck rolled over, spilling hydrochloric acid in southwest suburban Alsip.

The accident happened near the 127th Street exit in southwest suburban Alsip.

All southbound lanes between 95th Street and 127th Street were closed while crews cleaned up up the spill and uprighted the tanker.

No one has been injured, but state police say it is going to take some time to clean things up.
