Chicago mural design winner announced

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Bank of America announced the winner of the Roy Lichtenstein-inspired mural design competition.

Students were challenged to create an original design as a tribute to Chicago in the style of Pop Art.

Adam Horrigan was the winner. Tracy Lee and Ting Zhou were finalists.

Horrigan's design will be displayed on a building in the Bucktown neighborhood, near the Kennedy Expressway.
